Biography

Roy Scoutz is a Guitarist and Pianist who produces instrumental CDs featuring his own originals that showcase his composing, arranging and masterful playing. His musical approach reflects his admiration for Pop, Classical, Jazz, Folk and World music. Some of his favorite artists are: The Beatles, Yes, Bob Dylan, Enya, Steely Dan, led Zeppelin and Lots of Film music. Favorite Musicians include: Paul McCartney, Jeff Beck, Jon Anderson,Maurice White (EW&F) Miles Davis Guitarist John Williams and Jimmy Page,
Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, E morricone, Tommy Emannual, John Mclaughlin
My music is set deep in melody and I try to compose melodies that are both spiritual and memorable. I enjoy very much the task of arranging music to keep the listener engaged
On some recording I may use up the 7 different sounding guitars. Playing the keyboards also gives me a large palette of sounds and moods to choose from. Music is so much a part of my life it is an almost meditative experience. I know for sure that when life gets a little rough at times music has saved me again and again. Everyday I feel so thankful that I am able to continue doing what I love and what has become a very personal form of expression. I love to move people with music I believe in.
