Biography

Rod & Kathi Simpson have been active in Christian music ministry for over 20 years serving God through songs, teaching and testimony in venues throughout the Midwest and southern regions of the US for both small and large Christian venues. Rod has performed professionally as a lead vocalist and drummer for over 40 years. He abandoned the music of his secular life after performing many styles of music, most notably as an opening act for country artists such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Ronnie McDowell, JD Sumner and The Stamps, and the Elvis Presley TLC band. Rod found his way to God’s forgiveness, mercy and restoration through his wife, Kathi, who has always been grounded in Christ and uses her vocal talents exclusively for the glory of God. Kathi has been featured as a vocalist and speaker for women’s organizations in the central Midwest. Rod and Kathi currently use their vocal talents at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria, Illinois.
