Biography
R.E.L.I.K. was born Jerell Alton Guidry in Santa Ana, Ca. In 1988 his father moved to New Orleans where R.E.L.I.K. quickly adapted to the streets ofthe West Bank. While there he learned to freestyle gaining respect from his peers. This was also an outlet to avoid getting caught up in street life. In 1999 he moved back to California with his father but faithfully kept New Orleans in his heart and his close friends gave him the nickname “N.O.”

In 2001 R.E.L.I.K. joined the group Gangsta Trigoration. The group stayed to together until late 2003 recording tons of songs but never releasing any material. In 2005 a fatal car accident claimed the life of his father, which took a heavy toll on him. R.E.L.I.K decided he would go non-stop until he reached his goal of stardom. He flooded mixtapes catching a lot of attention and notoriety from peers like Snoop Dogg, Daz, Warren G., C- Murder, B.G., & DMX. Unfortunately, in early 2007 tragedy struck again when he lost his mother two years to the day of his father’s death. At his point he would do nothing but grind to become successful just as his parents believed he would.

Summer of 2007 a change came when he signed with GrooveKidz Entertainment and released the Club banger “Roll Wit It” which is generating a “HUGE” buzz on Myspace, iTunes, SIRIUS, Rhapsody. He credits Twista, Jay-Z, Brotha Lynch Hung, 2Pac, Bone Thugs, Snoop, B.Gizzle, Mystikal and Soulja Slim as influential artists.

With his laid back swagger, ferocious flow and unstoppable energy…!!!
