Biography
Born Victoria B.C., Canada. Toured for three years with folk trio, The Halifax three along with Denny Doherty (later of the Mamas and the Papas) and Zol Yanovaky (later of the Lovin Spoonful) This group recorded two LPs Albums for Columbia records and appeared on the Merv Griffin TV show, the Mike Douglas TV show and The Mitch Miller show. They opened for Bill Cosby and Shelly Berman and toured all over North America. Pat later returned to his first love, the standard popular song in a jazz style.
Currently Pat performs annually at the Toronto Downtown Jazz Festival and appears in Toronto nite clubs.
This is Pat's second CD of standards. It is comprised of 14 of the most beautiful ballads ever written. Special guests on this CD are guitarist Reg Schwager, (tracks 4, 7, and 12 (Reg has also recorded with George Shearing) and world famous jazz trumpet/flugelhorn artist, Guido Basso (tracks 3, 10, and 14.
