Nicole Gordon is a truly unique artist overlapping genres such as: pop, Americana, folk, rock, and soul effortlessly. Her voice can be hauntingly exquisite and a commanding, powerhouse in the same breath, all the while keeping the listener attune to the sentiment of the song.

Nicole grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA the 5th child out of 8. She started singing at the age of 7 and got her first professional gig the next year. She first studied voice under Russell Faith (Andrea McArdel) and then went on to study Jazz Vocal Performance at Temple University.

In Los Angeles, Nicole emerged on the scene as a singer, songwriter, and session vocalist. She works regularly with Emmy Award winning and nominated composers Ernest Troost and Blake Neely on film and television projects along with numerous other composers and songwriters on library music and commercials. Nicole was part of a 4 part choir for the new animated film, “The Legend of Secret Pass“ starring, Frankie Muniz, Joe Pantoliano, Michael Chiklis, & Cheryl Hines and her song "Angels" from Long Time will be featured in a new documentary called ARTS, a film about possibilities, disabilities and the arts, which will be released in October, 2008 from Normal Films - www.normalfilms.com. She was part of a live performance of award winning director Guy Maddin’s BRAND UPON THE BRAIN! at The Egyptian Theater with an 11-piece live orchestra, a 3-person live Foley sound effect team, and narrator, Udo Kier. She recently co-wrote & recorded with legendary songwriter Gerry Goffin, and had the pleasure of recording for Mike Stoller, of Leiber & Stoller fame.

Nicole appeared as the singing voice of "Madison" on the Warner Bros show "EVERWOOD" for 4 episodes and her songs can be heard nationwide on television shows, commercials, radio, Itunes, Lufthansa Airlines, and in Regal Cinema's. She continues to write with composers & songwriters on film and TV projects, she frequently travels to Nashville for writing and recording sessions, and tours regularly. Nicole was also a featured songwriter for the 2007 ASCAP showcase at The Americana Music Conference along with Chelsea Crowell, daughter of Rodney, and Travis Howard (Famous in a small town – Miranda Lambert) and she has also showcased at The Sundance Film Festival.

She has had the great fortune to work with some of the best musicians in the world such as:
Jim Keltner (John Lennon, Simon & Garfunkel), Barry Goldberg (Bob Dylan, Electric Flag), Gerry Goffin (Natural Woman, Saving all my love for you), Mike Stoller (Stand by Me, Hound Dog), Gary Mallaber (Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison), Johnny Lee Schell (Bonnie Raitt, Melissa Etheridge), Paul Barrere (Little Feat), Bob Glaub (Tracy Chapman, Leonard Cohen), Hutch Hutchinson (Bonnie Raitt), John Hall & Lance Hoppen (Orleans), Todd Nichols, Randy Guss, & Dean Dinning (Toad the Wet Sprocket).

Song Placements:
Nicole has been writing songs since the ripe old age of 5 and has released 11 records and written hundreds of songs since! In 2007, she released 2 new CD’s “Long Time” and “All My Change” to excellent reviews and in 2006 she debuted a concept album entitled, “Songs of Shiloh” with Marty Axelrod. Nicole continues to write regularly in Los Angeles and Nashville and many of her songs have been in the following TV shows and Independent films~
