Biography
Minoru is a composer,arranger,producer. He is Japanese born and bred, now living in Osaka Japan. When he was a child, he had never been interested in playing music at all. At the age of 19,he bought Led Zep's.4th album;That was the first time he bought a rock album. Then Jimmy Page became his first guitar hero, like most guitar kids who had been crazy about the great rock guitarist in those days. When Minoru started to play guitar with a band, he had already become a student of Nihon University. As others had also been at that time, he was also crazy about Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Santana,etc. ; Simaltaneously he was involved in punk rock music at college. As Minoru wanted to be a director or producer related to commercial TV or movies,.he attended Broadcasting of Art college, Nihon University. He had already lost interest in his studies however, because his desire was to become a professional guitarist. After graduation,working at a record and musical instruments shop, Minoru went to a music school named AN school in Kyoto for learning musical skill and guitar. After that, he took lessons from Kazuhiko Takeda, a famous Japanese jazz guitarist &also from Katsuhiko Tanzen Tanaka, an excellent arranger.Having never studied about music before, Minoru learned traditional jazz guitar style and arrangement from them and got to like fusion and jazz guitarists like Larry Carlton ,Lee Ritienour, Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, John Scofield, and so on,he worked with local bands and performing live with different rock, pop and jazz acts. For some reason, however, he had lost his passion to continue his music life ,so he once retired from playing guitar in 1996 & pursued other lines of work.But Minoru has regained his muse and decided to re-start his career as an artist in 1998, creating his own music from that time.
In 1999,Minoru made his way as the second music career into the first generation mp3.com USA. His "Triple Fuse" marked #1 ranking in the All Asia charts on the mp3.com for several weeks in July 2000 and reached #7 in all jazz download charts on Vitaminic.com at the end of 2000"
7/19 2001,Stylish Women reached #1 jazz fusion charts ,#2 all jazz charts and #1 all Asian charts at mp3.com USA.
8/13 2001, Nightmare In Manila reached #1 jazz fusion charts at mp3.com USA. featured
on their news letter over the world. But discontinued his music life untill 2007 becuase of ill. around 5 years........
Minoru started the third career as an artist in 2008 again.
Minoru Amino will continue the work until an Angel will take him to heaven where God lives.
