Mike Andes dedicates new song to Graduates
The song, Go On, from my CD, The Songs I Sing, is very speacial to me. I wrote this song as a gift of advice for our sons, Mason & Dylan, when they graduated high school. I would like to dedicate it now to the graduating class of 2013. As our young adults move forward in life, I beleive the words of this song will add comfort to both parents and children.

Mike Andes of Nothin' Fancy Releases First Solo CD
Singer/songwriter, Mike Andes, of the bluegrass band, Nothin' Fancy, has just released his first solo project. The CD contains 14 new original songs written by Mike.

Mike sings lead on all songs, plays rhythm and lead guitar, and plays the mandolin. Other musicians on the CD include Marshall Wilborn, IBMA Bass Player of the Year, Mark Delaney on banjo, Mark Clifton on dobro, and Nothin' Fancy co-member, Chris Sexton on fiddle, viola and cello. Vocalists include Darren Beachley singing tenor and Chris Sexton singing baritone.

The songs range from fast paced bluegrass to bluesy to touching folk to a beautiful gospel song. It has a little bit of everything.
