Biography

Michael Avila was born and raised in NYC, into a Latin American family. At 13 his love for music began. His strong need for expressing himself lead him to writing music by age 17. Eventually he began recording and soon after performing in venues such as CBGB's and Club Speed. Michael may initially be described as a Pop/Dance act as he is also a dancer and creator of dance oriented music, but he is quite eclectic. In fact, his goal is to surface as a prolific recording artist who taps into various sub-genres and sounds of Pop music. He has dove into sounds of Pop/Rock, Techno, and even typical Ballads. All of which tend to be quite catchy and generally great Pop music. Michael is multi-talented, choreographing and directing shows for other artists as well. His "Go Getter EP" is available on iTunes.
