3 more songs from award winning Aussie songwriter Brenda-Lee Heathcote and Meat Pie Music's album Light Of Hope, featuring artists Michael King, Jason Kemp, and Sharon Lane.

The album features 11 songs, written by multi award winning songwriter Brenda-Lee Heathcote, produced by Scott Lloyd Shelly, and includes performances by artists Anthony Snape, (currently touring with Tommy Emmanuel in the USA), Bobby Cash “The Indian Cowboy”, The Mateki’s from Texas USA, Vanya, Pam Spencer, Candice Long, (winner of Channel 9’s “Loungeroom Legends” 2007) multi award winning singer/songwriter Michael King, Brad Lee, Sharon Lane (Winner of “Most Promissing New Talent at 2007 Deadly Awards) Jason Kemp, and a “Bonus Track” by Tania Kernaghan who kindly offered a track from her album “Higher Ground” to show support for the cause.

Officially launched during the annual mid year country music festival “Hats Off to Country” in Tamworth, the album also marked the launch of Meat Pie Music, Brenda-Lee's indie publishing company.

"Light Of Hope" came about after the untimely death of Brenda-Lee’s brother Brian, who was attacked and killed while walking home from a venue in Nundah, QLD in January 2007. Brenda-Lee hopes to raise awareness of violence within the community, and help convey the message that “One Punch Can Kill”. A percentage of money from the sale of the album will go directly to assist the Queensland Homicide Victims Support Group. The painting on the cover of the album was painted by artist and good friend, Cath Grant, who also lost her brother to murder. The painting was auctioned at the launch of the album, and raised $1000, which Brenda-Lee and Cath donated to the QHVSG.
