Biography
Lee Quick is your typical female singer / songwriter / guitarist / Katrina survivor / ex-Army-bassoonist with a steel plate in her wrist and a penchant for sarcasm.

Straight-shooting, smart-sexy, and occasionally funny as hell, Lee Quick dishes out Americana, alt. country, new folk, and whatever else she likes. The ex-New Orleans singer-songwriter-guitarist delivers insightful and well-crafted songs with wit and warmth, and with attitude ranging from wry to wrathful to sentimental.

Her original songs show eclectic influences, from the Beatles and Elvis Costello to Johnny Cash and Lucinda Williams. Lee's all-original first album, "Do You Think?", was released in February 2004 and is available from Louisiana Music Factory (New Orleans) and online at iTunes and CDbaby.com.

2007 release: "Songs For Refugees" featuring 11 new songs including "The Black Line", available for download at LeeQuick.com.

Lee's song "Willow Tree Bend" was selected for a CD complilation benefitting women's domestic abuse programs, "The Goddess Within", released in 2005. Lee's songs are regularly featured on many local and Internet radio stations including HoundogRadio and AcousticFuel.
