Biography
When Laura Cortese & Dietrich Strause independently moved from Boston and it’s legendary music scene to Ghent, Belgium and London, England, respectively, they found solace in the fact that they would never have to shovel their cars out again. To commemorate their freedom, they wrote this retro Christmas song filled with nostalgia for the dreary weather of their
newfound homes.

Laura and Dietrich met up on a rainy day in Room 13 in Ghent, Belgium to record the basic track. They asked friend, composer and folk fiddler Karl-Johan Ankarblom to arrange strings. A week later an amazing string quartet added their magic in Benny Andersson’s studio in Stockholm.
