Biography

Kyven is the synth-pop duo created by Kyle Ewalt as vocalist and Steven Shewbrooks as producer. An influence of jazz progression and triadic vocal movement, the music created by Kyven has always stood apart. The tone and movement of Kyle's vocals over Steven's synced beats and synthesizers are a matched blend.

Coming onto the scene in late 2004, the two quickly began releasing track after track. The 2005 album "In My Mind," launched Kyven into a realm with songs playing in stores across the USA, album releases oversees, chart-topping hits on several dance radio stations, countless online digital outlets, and collaborations with Ultra Records DJ Serge Devant.

Taking a break since 2006, the new album titled "Sample 8" is the first new music in three years.
