Keith's Biography



Keith Blocker discovered his love for music at a very young age. His mother raised him on healthy doses of Elvis Presley music, and Keith cannot recall a time when he wasn't an Elvis fan. His love for Elvis music started Keith on his musical journey after performing many of his classic hits at a Christmas Party several years ago. With the encouragement of his wife, Shawn, and a desire to perform country music, Keith Blocker recorded his first album in 2004.



After recording that album, Keith found success on the radio in many foreign markets. As time went by, United States DJs started to discover his talent and began to request his CD for airplay on their radio stations. Now with two albums and 21 songs recorded, Keith Blocker can be heard on the radio almost anywhere in the world on any day of the week!



In addition to having a strong singing voice for country music, Keith Blocker also has a talent for songwriting. For his second album, Keith co-wrote "Talking About the King," a song tribute to Elvis Presley.



Living in Conway, Arkansas, Keith generously donates his time to travel to other cities and states to perform at charity events raising money for worthy causes. In 2005, Keith traveled to perform shows to feed hungry children, provide hurricane disaster relief, and to raise money for educational programs. In addition to charity shows, Keith performed at fairs, festivals, and independent music industry events.



Keith Blocker is currently working with the songwriters at DreamStar Music on his next recording project and has already performed one of the new songs on television. On December 2, 2005, Keith appeared on Smart Country and performed "Moonlight in Memphis." Keith plans to record this song on his next album, along with "Honolulu Blue," another song from D. Erik and J. Cooper, songwriters for DreamStar Music. In addition to planning his next album, Keith is working on his 2006 schedule of performances.
