Kay Ross (born April 10, 1987 in Dallas, Texas), better known by his stage name K. RoSs, is an American rapper. He started his music as a teenager. Hood Known released in 2005, was K. RoSs's first solo debut album. After gaining fame with hit singles in the early 2007-2008, K. RoSs reached higher popularity with his "Watch Her Get It" single. December 31st 2008 K. RoSs annouced that he will release 12 albums in 12 months to prove how hard work and dedication he has for his music. He earned various accolades following his third album One Day Tour. K. RoSs grew up in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of New Dallas, Texas. Ross enrolled in the choir program of Robert L. Thornton Elementary School winning the award for outstanding singer. He wrote his first rap song at age thirteen. At age sixteen, him and his cousins started rapping and distributing the music in schools. K. RoSs recorded freestyle raps on tape recorders and soon computers onto CD's. He graduated out of David W. Carter high school at age 18.

In late 2007 and early 2008, K. RoSs collaborated with rapper Mike T for the album Hood Money, whose first hit single on the album was, "Watch Her Get It". Instead of a follow-up solo album, K. RoSs reached his audience through a plethora of mixtapes and guest appearances on a variety of R&B, pop and hip-hop singles. Of his many mixtapes, his most recent are No Host Mixtape series 1 to 3 and the best of the series called One Bad Azz Mixtape. No Host Mixtape, released in 2009, paired K. RoSs with no DJ present. All his mixtapes was released and was available for free legal download. It contained K. RoSs rapping over a variety of beats from recent hits by other musicians. Despite no album release for two years, K. RoSs appeared in numerous singles as a featured performer, from Dallas artists also, with tracks from overseas great britain and Dallas producers.
