Joe Young The Jyant is a hip-hop solo artist from PG County,MD, by way of NE Washington, DC. The emcee turned producer started writing rhymes in full length verses in 1993 at the age of 13. Joe Young The Jyant, who at the time was only referred to as Jyant, produced his first track in 2002 using a relatively inexpensive audio editing computer program. Joe Young found that by creating the instrumental beats which would then be accompanied by lyrics, also written by the DMV native, came a greater appreciation and awareness for the power and purpose of music. Every great artist is the product of a great purpose and therefore, serves a great purpose. That great purpose isn't always revealed until long after all is said and done. Joe Young The Jyant has set out to serve those who live purpose driven lives. Those who have put things in place that not only increase the quality of their lives but, the lives of others as well.
