Redlands, California is the home of musical spirits and ghosts of the past. Jamie Salazar was born and raised in Redlands - his new sound has soaked up the memories of a lost California town and dreams of the Arizona landscape. Influenced by leading acts such as Radiohead, The Cure, Smashing Pumpkins, Led Zepplin, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and a strong belief in melody - Jamie Salazar is now bringing the heavy heart sound to the stage. With the recently formed live act - the band is just beginning to bring their own indie sound to you. The most unique aspect of JAMIE SALAZAR is the diversity of the band members - they are "not your typical rock band" is often what is said when first hearing them... Jamie Salazar is also a superb songwriter and has been able to capture hearts with the recently released ready-for-radio alternative/progressive rock release titled, JAMIE SALAZAR - MY HEAVY HEART.
