Billy Jeter's music comes from a collage of influences, Mississippi Delta Blues, Rock n Roll. Born in the delta in Arkansas in 1955, Jeter was exposed to an intricate tapestry of music styles, rich in history and colorful characters. The late sixties and seventies were exciting times for a young music listener. Growing up in this seminal time in history helped Jeter forge a musical base that started broad and continues to grow.
The strength of his stories, colorful characters and references to real events, establish Billy Jeter as a master storyteller that uses his songwriting as a canvas for his artistry.
Billy has five albums now , counting the new release of Hysteria. He decides his time between the Arkansas Delta, the Colorado Mountains and growing pecans!
