Biography
Human I.D. began as “BloodSlut” in August of 2007 but was changed to “Human I.D.” in winter of 2008.

After a planned move to Atlanta went sour and old bands went defunct, COdy Destro wanted to start a new band. Shortly after picking the name, he began writing songs for what would become the first Human I.D. EP. After recording, mixing, and mastering nine songs, he designed and printed the layouts, assembled them in their cases, and released the EP on November 15th, 2007 with his own label, Bruised Records.

Shortly after the release, he moved to Madison in hopes of a fresh start and to meet some new people for the band. He called his friend Josh Avni, who agreed to play bass, and placed an ad for a guitarist that Nick Rogers replied to. At the end of the first practice with Nick the band only needed a drummer. After some searching and deliberation, COdy decided to call long time friend and old band-mate Garrett Page, who agreed to play drums and soon moved to Madison to join the rest of the band.

The band then decided to record their second EP, “Hell is our Only Home”. In the meantime they played several shows, all with very warm reception. October 15th, 2008 saw the release of the second EP, which the band also recorded, mixed, mastered, designed, printed, and assembled on their own.

Also, we just want it to be known that there is no “sole member” of the band, in other words we all put in equal effort! While it’s a pretty common trait among other horror punk bands, the members of this band are not rotating in any way; we are all very much dedicated and ready to take over the world!

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
