Biography

HiFlyer began life in a spare room of the home of Henry and Elle Williams, music enthusiasts from Bristol. As their enthusiasm grew, so too did interest in their music and the pair were joined by friends Mike Edwards and Alex Browne.

Their first album Here Comes the Sunshine was finished in May 2005 and released in July 2005, two and a half years after the band first formed. The album is currently being sold on I Tunes and CD Baby and has had brilliant reviews from many music magazines and online reviews. Ruth Pearce of the Screaming Tarts describes HiFlyer as a wonderful example of modern soft rock... generally an uplifting affair, inspired by the catchy piano riffs of Coldplay and infusing them with a Beatlesque cheeriness".

The band are currently recording their second album which is to be closely followed by their third album which has already been written. Over the last 2 years they have played at a wide range of venues in Bath and Bristol as well as the highly acclaimed Riffs Bar in Swindon, winner of the Music Pub of the year 2006.

They have also extensively toured Spain over the summer 06 and have been record of the week, two weeks in a row on Spanish radio stations.

HiFlyers first UK tour has been scheduled for October where they are due to play at venues such as The Rock Garden, London and they are looking to release their first single soon after that!
