Domestic Violence Against Men Target of New Single b-side 'On Eggshells'

Hannu Lepisto served as a military chaplain in the Finnish army, cutting his musical teeth as a drummer in a number of underground rock bands in his very early teens. Driven by an urge to write poetic but gritty songs detailing the roller coaster of life, he traded his drum throne for 12 string and a mic at 17, to front his own band, The Matt Pistol Project. With his band he went on to share stages with the likes of Bonnie Tyler and Finnish alternative rock sensations, Poets of the Fall A health crisis led Lepisto to fold his band. After recouping he struck out as a singer-songwriter. Lepisto's first solo single 'There Is An Angel for Everyone' was very well recieved on Myspace. Hard Rock Cafe Helsinki invited Hannu to play on their stage prior to his debut solo LP release, Have A Beautiful Life (2013), which spent over a month on New & Noteworthy ITunes in his home country. Burn Bridges Burn, will be his third solo release. It represents his most focused and poignant material to date. Lepisto was diagnosed with bipolar depression during the making of his debut LP and several episodes of bipolar depression have interrupted the coming and the last album's production and release. Lepisto decided to release 2 songs from the album early for the sake of his fans whom he feels should not have to wait any longer for some new music.
