Biography

HANGMAN was originally formed in spring 1997 by Mikael & Petrus to play Heavy Metal. They recorded 2 demos in 1998 and 1999 and booked themselves few concerts. After the second gig they decided to call it off.

Late autumn 2005 the band relocated and reunited with only one original member, Mikael. New material was heavier and more mature. Just before they hit the studio for a brand new promo they had to find the twin guitarist so they contacted the original guitarist Petrus and he was more than ready to rejoin the band.

In December 2006 they silently hanged their vocalist August and Jeremia replaced him.
Now Hangman is ready to make things happen! Promotion and live playing is Hangmans main target for the rest of the year 2007. Including recording and releasing their debut album. They are all very passionate about the band and will do their best to give people something special, something beautiful, something spooky...

Now as we still live in the year 2008 we have been recording last tracks for the album and the mixing will take place in near future.

So.... Alot have happened since 2008. Hangman changed the other guitarist, please welcome this young very talented Heca.

And Hangman also released their debut album THE GALLOWS
