In 2007 Gordie released his new album "Bottleneck to Wire' with special guests Roger Marin (Fred Eaglesmith Band)- pedal steel, Jaxon Haldane (D-Rangers)- banjo, Amelia Rose (Fishhead Stew)- fiddle, Aylie Sparkes- guitar and Kim Barlow- cello.

Over the last two years he has performed at: North Country Fair, Peterborough Folk Festival, Dauphin Countryfest, Alaska State Fair, Toronto Film Festival, Blue Feather Music Festival, Prince George Folk Festival, Dawson City Music Festival, Canada Music Week, Alsek Music Festival, Edge of the World Music Festival, Folk on the Rocks Festival, Ontario Contact Showcase, Fred Eaglesmith Picnic, Atlin Arts & Music Festival, North By Northeast Festival, Frostbite Music Festival and Winterfolk Roots & Blues Festival. He recently showcased at the Western Canadian Music Awards earning rave reviews for his live show performing for a full house of music industry folks.
