Biography
Gerry Langley was born in Belfast , he came to London in the early sixties, and became part of a brother and sister act called "The langleys". He used to do a lot of television and radio shows in the 60's with his sister, Mary, but was always drawn back to Denmark Street, the home of the Music Publishers at the time. Mary went out on her own and Gerry later joined Belwin Mills Music as a Songwriter and he has been writing songs ever since. gerry has had a lot of his songs recorded by a lot of famous artistes including wayne newton carmen mc crae the guess who with randy bachman sandie shaw,val doonican, and claude francois who wrote my way,gerry has also just had a song of his on the new tony hadley album passing strangers, as i'm sure most of you know tony used to sing with spandau ballet its due for release oct 2 2006 a very good swing album, check out gerry at CDBABY digital indie store where his music is on sale
