Biography
George Roberson was born in San Bernardino, California. He was orphaned at the age of nine. Raised in the deep South, he met Hank Williams Sr. at an early age, and was inspired by him to learn guitar and sing.

George married at the age of twenty and soon fathered three children. He put the guitar in the closet to raise the kids. Self-employed, he pursued a career as a commercial artist, designing trademarks, storefronts and product labels.

Thirty years later, he authored a book of children's poems, which led him into songwriting. After the sixteenth song, he restrung the guitar, and started picking and singing again. Recording came next.

George is currently president of Pearl Raindrops, a publisher of books and music.

He is an avid outdoorsman, an advocate of individual rights and freedoms. He is a lover of children, animals, nature and her songs. He is exercising his strong desire to share nature's beauty through songs and poems.

Review of George Roberson's album "Perfect 21":

"The song selections on the CD total 21 of Roberson's songwriting efforts in a rough and raw style that echoes the foundations of American Country Music generated at Sun Records which produced the likes of Johnny Cash."
