From grade school to college, George Arriola had years of experience in music. He has received awards in jazz, Rock, Contemporary Christian and Billboard Music. George is the Founder, President and Owner of The Joy Records Label/Recording Studio www.joyrecords.com which was named after his daughter.

George sings, plays several instruments and has experience in composing as well as arranging. He enjoys all types of music and especially enjoys composing instrumentals. " People should express themselves and create a final product that they can feel proud of and share with others." - George Arriola
George is currently composing and arranging songs for some of Joy Records current Artist/s and client's. In-between he is working when he can on his own instrumental CD which will contain several different types of instruments and styles from Smooth Jazz, Jazz Rock, Progressive Rock and Acoustical Compositions.

George has too many musical influences to name all but these are some: RUSH, The Beatles, Phil Keaggy, Carlos Santana, Petra, Bread, Greg X Volz, Journey, Yanni, Mathew Ward, Christopher Cross, Michael Gleason, Steely Dan, Allies, YES, Bryan Duncan, Kansas, Boston, John Elefante, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, The Motown Sound, and many many more.... You know the good creative technical stuff!
For George though he enjoys pretty much all styles of music, as he believes "If a song is good it's good no matter what style." However, with that said his personal favorite decades of music are in the following order: 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and some new stuff here and there!
