Biography
The Southern Culture Has A Long History Of Producing Many Talented Singer/Songwriters Who Intertwine Their Various Musical Influences. West Virginia Native, Gary Bonnett, Carries On That Tradition. He Mixes Together His Personal Brand Of Southern Red Dirt Music to include Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Southern Rock – All Wrapped Around Lyrics That Sound Too Insightful For Someone His Age. At The Age Of 16, He Picked Up His First Guitar And Hasn't Looked Back Since. After A Couple Of Years Honing His Craft And Graduating From Marshall University, He Started Into The Song Writing Universe. Song Writing Has Always Been A Passion Of His, But He Has Always Stuck To Those Types Of Songs That Have Meaning To Them...Pc Or Not. "I Always Want To Put Songs Out That People Can Relate To." And That He Does. After Playing With The Bands Young Country And Neon Cactus In West Virginia, He Branched Out With The Southern Touch Band Out Of Georgia. These Were All Learning Tools To Get Him To Where He Is Today. Gary Put Out His First Album "See Me Now" While He Was With Neon Cactus And Is Currently Out Promoting His New Album "The Long Road Home" To Include Most Of The Songs That He Has Written Or At Least Co-Written. His New Style Of Writing Is Catching The Ear Of The Texas Music Scene, Including Cody Canada From Cross Canadian Ragweed And Randy Rogers, Just To Name A Few. The New Album Will Feature The Guys From The Aaron Watson Band, Homer Hickem And The Rocketboys, And Gordon Cotton, Who Has Played With Kiss And Marshall Tucker Band. This 28 Year Olds True And Honest Way Of Writing Will Make These Songs Fan Favorites Right From The Start. There Are Many Miles Left On This Road, And With The Talent And Creative Ability That He Possesses, The Bounds Are Endless.
