Biography
“Nothing could have prepared me for what I would hear. Come Here, Go Away is a raw, passionate, and often off kilter riot act disguised as an album. G-Spot has evolved into a loud, in your face, take over the world rock band and they have never sounded better!” Mark Fisher, GoGirlsMusic.com

G-spot has been on the NYC Indie music scene for more then ten years, fueled by the passion & relentless dedication of their founder & lead singer, Gail Silverman. With her original bass player, Donald Dixon, loyally by her side, the band & music continue to grow & flourish!

G-spot has released two CDs, Experience the Pleasure & Come Here Go Away, with their second release G-spot really hit their stride. Come Here Go Away offers a punky, rock-pop, hi-energy wild roller coaster ride that takes it’s listeners from one peak to the next, leaving them catching their breath, & wanting to go back on the ride again & again. It's got a vibe that's as much No Doubt as it is the Donnas, but has an attitude & an edge reminiscent of rock divas such as Joan Jett and Janis Joplin. Gail has been busy writing lots of new materials and is looking to release some new tunes in late 2009.

The TV & film industry has taken notice of G-spot; their song Hey Creator was featured in episodes of the A&E series Rollergirls. In addition, songs Revolutionary & Even the Mighty Fall were placed in the Independent feature film, Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy and they were selected to be featured in a new TV pilot called Rockin’ Kitchen.

G-spot has also been a featured artist at gogirlsmusic.com & femmuse.com & they have generated airplay on many college and local stations in NY & NJ. G-spot has held the coveted slot on Long Island's #1 Rock station, WBAB 102.3's Homegrown show; they spun the title track: Come Here, Go Away, the anti-industry anthem Revolutionary & the hot & sexy Harley Song. G-spot has also been featured multiple times on The Jersey Rock Radio Show (WRAT 95.9FM) & WVBR’s Last Exit for the Lost among others.

In their live show Gail’s a siren, commanding the audience’s attention by juxtaposing her sassy wit & her naked vulnerability, her magnetism & her enlightenment, her wrath & her passion, with a no-holds barred delivery of emotion. With a fantastic team of musicians backing her up including Donald Dixon on bass of course, Jovan on drums & Dave Perry on lead guitar this band explodes on stage. G-spot plays regularly at many of NYC & the East Coast’s hottest rock clubs.

In 2002, Gail created Revolutionary Records, to support G-spot & other independent artists, creating an environment to bring to the surface fantastic under-the-radar talent. One of their initial efforts was the Girls Rock & Girls Rule Showcase, recently celebrating its 7th Anniversary in NYC. In 2006 GRGR began touring the East Coast’s featuring G-spot and over 40 other rockin’ femmes. They recently completed the 2008 tour of which a portion of the proceeds benefited Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls. www.myspace.com/girlsrockgirlsrule

Expect to hear a lot more about G-spot and Girls Rock & Girls Rule then you can say, “I told you so” when you predicted they’d be the next most anticipated & hottest thing on the indie music scene! Remember all we ask is you “experience the pleasure”
