Biography
ELECTRIC CRUSH is a five piece Modern / Alt Rock band with a sound reminiscent of the Goo Goo Dolls, Stone Temple Pilots, Matchbox 20, Maroon 5, Lifehouse, and U2: a commercial rock sound with a slight pop edge. Electric Crush is currently playing throughout Texas, opening for such popular acts as Three Days Grace, Blue October, Burdon Brothers, Social Burn and many others. Their dynamic live performances have helped propel the band to the forefront of rock music in Texas. Electric Crush has become very popular in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denton, San Antonio, Houston and Austin.

Their 2003 self-titled debut album "Electric Crush," and their February 2005 sophomore release, "The Green Album," have both sold out of their initial run and are scheduled for re-press. The bands power-packed third album, "The Human Frequency," was released in April 2006 and is now available on iTunes, BurnLounge, TowerRecords, and cdBaby. "The Human Frequency" marks a milestone in the bands song writing: eleven cuts deep, this CD is packed with radio hits from start to finish. With hard-hitting tracks like "Not to Be," the rock-pop epic "Taking Away" and the soulful, spine-tingling closing track "Time 4 Me 2 Go" - you will wonder how your music collection ever felt complete without them.

The 1st single, "Taking Away," has been released to Active Rock radio and the video, currently being promoted by Howard Rosen Promotions, is being broadcast by video channels across the USA. So get on the phone and help us by requesting "Taking Away" to your local radio/video station!

The LIVE performance - that's what defines a great Rock Band - and ELECTRIC CRUSH delivers a powerful performance with all the excitement and charisma of a polished, veteran act. Lead singer Shane DiGeorge possesses a star quality that hasn't been seen since the likes of Bono from U2. Fans from across the country have been emailing and sending letters of support from Seattle to Chicago, from New York to Miami, from Dallas to Los Angeles, and everywhere in between. People from across the USA have been spreading the word about ELECTRIC CRUSH through the Internet and on many websites and blogs such as MySpace.com.

ELECTRIC CRUSH is currently putting together their first nationwide tour of the USA, to begin in August 2006. EC is also working with A&M International Booking agency and is planning a tour of Europe in 2007.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
