Biography
Duncan born in 1975 in Tennessee, quickly moved to Indiana, then to inner Chicago, then to Floria Panhandle, then back to Nashville with a arsenal of influences under his belt. singing, bass and guitar both became tools of expression.
Now, several albums later, the best music of his career is being writing, recorded and performed with a talented group of people. In 2005 PUSH & PULL was recorded in Nashville with the guidance of Leonard Wolf, a legendary producer and piano player, it showcases Duncan's unique singing and writing style.
In 2005 This Day Coming was recorded also in Nashville using some of the city's best studio musicians. This album was a tribute to Americana music and had mandolin, chello, dobro, piano and even a few back up siongers on it.
In 2007 Duncan May released Tomato Rescue. His "supporting" band is called The Resonators, they help make this album and the songs sound cohesive and tight. This album is classified as a rock album but has flavors of "jam" "latin" and even some blues.
The band stays busy performing around the Southeastern U.S. and would like to get on the radio. The group is not signed to any label but is supported by a terrific team of folks at Honeyville Music!
