Biography
Miss Edwards' Grade One has this to say about the Dirtminers: "Fantastic, cool, very good, really loud awesome, really hot, very talented, nice, talented, very dirty, great, I don't know, rock and roll, umm, hoolish like a hoola-hoop, off the hook, egyptian, stiff."
The Dirtminers play a rocked up mix of indie-pop, americana, and folk. Quirky and ready to turn on a dime, the band whips lead singer and writer Raph Worrick's twisted little ditties into high frenzy both live and on record. Having released two cds in the past three years, they are currently in preproduction on a third, tentatively titled "Dirtminers Go Pop."
