Dave Tate is an active composer, performer and producer. His music blends innovative modern styles with classic folk songwriting, influenced by the likes of James Taylor, Paul Simon, Ani Difranco and Dave Matthews. Dave Tate's music appeals to a wide audience. Although most popular among the college to middle age crowd, his music is also enjoyed by children, teenagers and senior citizens. His songwriting is eclectic and innovative and yet contains solid songwriting elements that have been proven to please crowds for decades.
Tate's versatile vocals are one of his greatest strengths.
