Biography

Das (German for “The") Vibes ( Jamaican word meaning something with interest and fun); Dasvibes is an independent record label and music group. 

Founded in 2001 in Kingston, Jamaica by Marvin Wade Reid, Melford Duwain Walcott and Micheal Christ with vinyl distribution in Jamaica with One Love HP and digital distribution to the world through Ingrooves.


Dasvibes has been heavily involved in some of the top rated reggae releases over the past few years, their first major riddim compilation of Gloria riddim, Cali P’s debut album, Lyrical Faya, The Most High album from Jamaican veteran chanter Daddy Rings and King Of Kings, the debut album from singer Elijah Prophet.


German reggae musician Gentleman - Different Places Maxi CD, Australian Raz Bin Sam's Own This Life, Teacha Dee debut album Reggae Souljahs: Beating Babylon With Music and now continuing that trend with a mega release list for 2020.
