Danny Makka Productions (DMP) is the third member of the music trinity of Music Business Technology Trainers and The Gospel Sound Studio which has been in operation in Kingston Jamaica for just over eighteen years.
The Danny Makka Productions gospel music team is headed by Don aka Uncle Don Jamaica’s foremost music business teacher, who along with Dwayne aka Sir D, Douglas aka Doogs, Dominic aka Domz and Turtleman, and Rayon (the Prodigal Keyboardist) comprise easily the most formidable aggregation of music business technologists to be found anywhere in Jamaica.
Danny Makka Productions holds the distinction of producing the first major audio book in Jamaica: ‘Cool Runnings and Beyond”, The story of the Jamaica Bobsleigh Team, a 300 page historical profile of the world famous Jamaica Bobsleigh team, written and read by its author Nelson Christian Stokes a founding member of Jamaica’s Bobsleigh team.
The Danny Makka Productions roster of headliners and upcoming gospel artistes with whom we have worked include Stitchie, Kirk Davis aka Little Kirk, Penincillin a two-time winner of the JCDC popular song contest, The Barrett Brothers whose recent CD and video HE’s Alive is creating quite a buzz in gospel music circles, Girvan Amore the JCDC 2008 gospel roadshow’s top performer, AG-Ikon, Mr. BenJ-I, Oliver Scott, , plus overseas based gospel artistes Mr. God Bless (USA), Christian Massive (Bahamas), Michael Chambers (Tortola), Stephen Gilkes (Bardabos), and Colonel PK (Tortola)
