Born in Perth, Australia, this young and energetic singer/songwriter picked up her first guitar at the age of 12. After the realization that live performance was one of her biggest strengths, Charmaine wasted no time in busting into the local music scene as the front woman for her very first rock covers band. Highly ambitious Charmaine then made a spontaneous, life-changing decision to relocate to Sydney and take her musical career to the next level.

Blessed with stunning looks and undisputable talent, Charmaine had no problems filling venues all around the city right away. Charmaine is a one of a kind singer that truly connects with her audience, sharing her soul with anyone lucky enough to see her. With a diverse collection of unique and highly personal songs that recount her experiences in life, love and loss, she also boasts formidable guitar playing skills to complement.

It would be easy to dismiss this attractive singer as "just another pop starlet", but underneath her beautiful exterior lies a lot of heart and soul, as demonstrated by Charmaine’s first ever performance. The first time she publicly revealed her talents to the world was at the eulogy of her father’s funeral. "I was so devastated when my father died, I couldn’t speak. But weirdly I could write and sing what I was feeling," she says. That experience gave her the courage to follow her heart’s desire.

Fast Forward to 2009 and Charmaine has signed a global recording and publishing agreement with indie power house " Blue Pie ". Working with Hellmut Wolf and Damien Reilly from Blue Pie, Charmaine is now preparing for her debut EP release called " Turn my world around ". We are sure that she will turn everyone's world around. Charmaine is fast-becoming the most sizzling female lead guitarist around with a crazy, come-from-nowhere momentum and a funky guitar-driven sound. Charmaine and her brilliant six piece band promise to funk, rock, snap, crackle and pop the lid off any venue. Live dates are being announce through her site and My Space.
