Sunset Urban Records Artist Capt. Crunk To Release Highly Anticipated Live Freestyle HipHop CD

Sunset Urban Records artist Capt. Crunk announces the worldwide release of "Freestyle Crunk," a 12 song full length CD on March 31. His Freestyle CD will be bundled with his previous hiphop album released at the label last year. The freestyle CD will be available for purchase at the starting low SRP of $9.99.

Capt. Crunk will began playing live again this year starting this week in new York City at the Karma Theater. Since the beginning of the year, he has produced these extremely anticipated freestyle rap songs with a tight knit group of people. Crunk just lately brought the concept CD to Don Lichterman, the head of Sunset Urban Records. And, the “Speed Crunk” track it's quickly impacting hardcore Urban styled radio stations and including college radio stations. Capt. Crunk stated from the ASCAP offices in New York City that he "loves freestyle rapping” and that he “loves that people want to hear me rap this way.” Crunk goes on to say that “when extreme things happen in my life, I love making it into a song and the fact that people are entertained by these raps, is incredible for me!"

Capt. Crunk released his debut album, "It’s A Hell Of A Drug," in the summer of 2008, to great acclaim within the hiphop community, the album became well known also for its controversial artwork.
