Biography
Grammy award winner Burt Conrad has been making music professionally for more than 30 years. He has worked and performed with such artists as Paul Simon, Chic, Sister Sledge, Z.Z. Hill, Leon Ware and June Pointer. Breaking away from the Burt Conrad All Star format of previous efforts, in "Home At Last", Burt travels physically and emotionally back home. The place where his musical muse resides, fueling his desire to perform for the love of it, writing songs about what he knows, and what he knows listeners can relate to—the intricacies of life. 13 all-original compositions written, arranged, recorded, produced and performed by Burt Conrad with supporting musicians including the legendary drummer, Bernard “Pretty” Purdie, legendary percussionist Ralph MacDonald, internationally renowned saxophonist George Young, All Star bassist Pete Cummings and introducing Osaka, Japan born pianist, Miho Nobuzane.
