Biography
Decades: 1998 - present

(ASCAP) artist - Brian Vassallo born on the island of Malta, is a self-taught musician, a combination of many genres from, ambient, electronic, space music, new age, experimental to Film & TV Music.

He has been involved into creativity, from the arts of painting, computer graphics, and sound design since his early years of his childhood.

At around the age of 16, and after numerous influences, Vassallo started building his own personal studio & in 1998, Brian released his first album of electronic synthesizer works called - "Beyond", written as a soundtrack for his science fiction, space fascination, and electronic music, carried since his childhood along the years.

In the years since, he has released a total of four albums including his most recent, - "Memoirs Of A Lifetime", released on december 31st 2010, including several singles such as the fan fav - " I am Always In Your Heart" & his most recent - "Open Sky" .

Brian's artistry in sound design and the ability of marrying sounds in his compositions is demonstrated not only in his music, but in his thematic approach to each album and for individual compositions.

In his albums and singles for instance, rather than creating collections of unrelated compositions , Brian treats each individual work as but one chapter in a much bigger story, like he is composing a soundtrack for a movie, that stirs the imagination and carries the listener to a gratifying journey,

Career highlights include remixing for Jean Michel Jarre's contest on Wat.Tv in 2007, which resulted in receiving the 'Teo & Tea' studio album from Jarre // Aero, - and a soundtrack for a short film In the End , that won the NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL December 2009 | THE INDIE FEST (California) October 2010 .

Collaborated with talented female artists such as the soprano artist " Amethyste " in "From Tears To Paradise" & with the maltese artist " Amaryllis Agius " in - "The Heart Of The Earth" , described as a prayer from the well known music reviewer " Bert Strolenberg" from sonicimmersion.org

Currently with an A&R Company from Los Angeles that connects his music to music supervisors.
