Ancient pagan traditions and cosmic sound era. Bolot is the singer and the narrator from mountainous Altai , the master of the ancient Altaic gluttural singing kay . Kay is a special type of the overtone singing spread among nomadic folks of Central Asia (Mongols, Altaic people, Tuvinians, Khakhases, etc.). The singer seems to sing with several voices at one time. Besides he can masterly play the komus (it is an Altaic Jew's harp), the shoor ( it's a flute without a mouthpiece) placed on the topshur. The core of the singer's creativity is the motives of sagas and legends of the folks of mountainous Altai. TOP FX is a palette of sounds colored with individual spirits, sounds extracted from stones, ferro-alloy, artificial sinews, breath of ether and the heartbeat. TOP FX is Vadim Preobrazhenskiy's project. Bolot feat TOP FX is a joint project of Bolot Bayrishev and Vadim Preobrazhenskiy. Their compositions are filled with the whisper of blooming valleys, sounds of rain, tints of mountain streams, roars of waterfalls, clatters of herds-in one word, with everything that Altaic songs are rich in and on the basis of what Bolot and TOP FX projects have been merged. An eclectic mixture of everything that exists, collage of samples and gluttural singing, breath of Altai and fx-all this you can in Bolot feat TOP FX . Together With Sunbeams is the first album of the partners and the courageous experimenters.
