Back in the hills of North Carolina after a full career as a Nashville, TN music professional. The songs are a result of mostly new writing efforts, and the recordings are largely sparse with piano as the primary instrument. The songs contain a range of styles, but are all within the American Folk Music tradition. The aim was not so much for a cutting edge “today” sound but for more of an evergreen sound that stretches across musical and generational boundaries.

“Blue Jamaica Sky” is piano with upright bass and Hammond organ support plus harmony vocals. It’s a story song, and the lyrics are included. It’s in a folk music setting with the piano using a Piedmont Blues approach.

“Carolina Lights” is a full band cut and within the commercial music range. Lyrics are included.
