Big Harmonica Bob is from Long Beach, California. His original
style has been heard on Blues Radio Programs around the World.
He is "Spanning The Globe with The Blues". He started to play in the late 1960's as a young guy and hasn't stopped since.
He has played with the blues famous and the infamous.
Big Harmonica Bob writes his own songs and plays many different musical instruments. He is mainly a professional bluesman known for his original harp style.
On this C.D. Big Harmonica Bob played everything ...
" ... it all started with the song "Fifty Bucks" .
That was put together for his band to listen to as a "demo". Why not do an all original C.D. that way?
... "Home Brewed Blues:" was born.
Big Harmonica Bob still has his own band and plays regularly at The Blue Cafe in Long Beach and at Martini Blues
in Huntington Beach and other Bars and Dives,(where the true
American Art Form known as the Blues survives)
"Home Brewed Blues" has it's own unique sound and each song
is different from the rest.
The song "My wife wants a Harley" was inspired by the
"Buffalo Chip" concert/bike rally venue in South Dakota.
Big Harmonica Bob has played there for the past few years and
his wife really does want a Harley.
I hope you enjoy that one even though it strays from the
blues just a bit ... it is a "blues" theme.
