Biography
Known for his soulful voice, driving rhythm guitar, and exceptional skills as a producer, David Parmley has notched many awards, including: International Bluegrass Music Association’s “Recorded Event of the Year” in 1991 and 1995. Continental Divide was a started as a collaboration with notable banjo player Scott Vestal in the mid 90’s. The group went on to become an instant success after claiming IBMA’s coveted, “Emerging Artist of the Year” award in 1995.
