Biography
One of the nicest and most honest men you'll ever meet and Michael B Rowe is no novice to the Country Music business either, having started his career in the industry at the early age of 6. His heritage includes his dad and uncles, The Seven Rowe Brothers (Columbia Records), who were inducted into the Western Swing Society Hall of Fame in 1987. Michael played and sang with his dad, Guy Rowe and his uncles and was publicly acclaimed as one of the best talents and bass players in the business. His Aunt Louise Rowe performed exclusively with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys since the early 50's.
At the age of 16, Michael recorded his first single, "Sherry". Since that time he has written and recorded many others, including his new release, "I've Got Lovin' On My Mind", "Loving You, Loving You", "Shambles of My Home", "Western Swing", and "Travelin' On Down the Road". All of these and others are soon to be released on Michael's new CD. Watch for it!
His showmanship abilities have led him to open concerts for such "greats" as Mo Bandy, Cal Smith, Faron Young, and Margo Smith and performed with The Maines Brothers in the recording studio. His television performances include appearances with Pam Tillis, Diamond Rio and Radney Foster. He has made many live, packed-house performances in Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada and Oregon. In 1999 Michael finished a Northern and Western States Tour with a 6-week show at Sam's Town in Las Vegas, Nevada.
