Biography
Rip-Roarin’ Country music from the swamps of Louisiana
Country-fied Roots Rock-n-Soul.
Born and bred in the swamps of Louisiana, Mark Adam Miller is the Country Rockin’ Cajun through and through. Swamp water fills his veins and the Delta Rhythms pump his heart. Mark honors the swagger and truth of country music in every step of his boot stompin', authentic songwriting and big bold live shows. Mark’s unique brand of music blurs the musical borders of country, rock, americana and soul.
The Artists we embrace are the originals. Nobody needs "the next..." anything. Mark Adam Miller is brimming over with a truly unique countryfied-rock-roots-n-soul brand of music that starts in your head, grabs hold of your boots, pulls you up by the shirt and swings you around the room like only real American music can. Mark's music sits perfectly over the airwaves with Chesney, Paisley, Urban, Swift, Brooks, Ingram, Toby Keith, and many other top artists of today. As much John Mellencamp and Bryan Adams as these guys above, Mark’s not “the next” any one of them. He's not trying to be all of them. Mark's simply, uniquely and firmly in their league.
Here’s what the media is saying…
“a highly creative singer/songwriter, Mark has the same sort of charisma that made Garth Brooks an international superstar, and writes music that will sit as well with fans of modern country as it will with Country fans of an earlier age.”
Wildy’s World national reviews
”This guy has accomplished what most cannot. He has managed to independently record and release music that is as good or better than stuff released by big professional record companies. ...[songs] the listener relates to on the first spin. ...excellent vocals and arrangements that are a perfect fit.”
babysue.com national reviews
“swagger and truth come through with a blast of country and rock...good feeling and silver linings abound...[his songs] celebrate the strength and never succumb to the pain. Glass half full is the rule here.”
- The Alternate Root national magazine
As an Artist and Songwriter, Mark splits his time between recording and writing in Nashville, Tennessee, and his post Katrina restored home in Covington, LA. Since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Mark has persevered with his love of music and writing, drawing on his life and upbringing in the deep south. With his first solo release “Ain’t Life Good”, Mark has melded his two music cities in every aspect. Mark recorded the music “beds” in famous Nashville studios, with Nashville guests and luminaries – musicians with and alumni of Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. His vocal performances were cut at home in New Orleans, just a few feet from the Mississippi River, in the embrace of his delta swamp roots.
Coupled with big bold live performances, songwriting is the foundation of true creative expression for Mark. Mark has been steadfast in his trek to write with and to learn from the masters. In the past 3 years, Mark has been regularly co-writing with top writers with cuts by artists such as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Montgomery Gentry, Toby Keith, Trisha Yearwood, Lonestar, Trace Adkins, Luke Bryan, and many others.

Mark was also awarded the coveted spot of “Featured Artist” on the GAC TV show “Next GAC Star” airing nationwide. Not bad test marketing for the new record.
Internet and terrestrial radio stations from Washington to Louisiana, Tennessee to New York, London to Serbia, Germany and Australia are adding Mark’s music in an explosive show of support. Songs from the new record “Ain’t Life Good” have been included on multiple international music compilations.
