SILVER WINGS BIO
LINDA BROWN WELLS
Linda has an impressive musical history under her belt. At the age of three Linda made her singing debut in Hay River N.W.T with her parent’s band. Shortly after they moved to Kingston, Ontario and by the time she was thirteen she was singing solo. A & M records had several releases for Linda, all of which scored high on R.P.M. national country charts, earning several Juno nominations in the mid seventies. Most promising female vocalist and Canada’s number one female vocalist.
Her last release on Earth Star Records in the early eighties, Love Don’t Grow In A One Man Show and Don’t You Know I’ve Been Crying, both self penned, earned a big country nomination and reached the top five on R.P.M. country and A.O.R national charts.
Tired of traveling with two small children, Linda settled to singing in night clubs around Southern Ontario and in 1991 she met Scotty Wells.
