Biography

Kelvin Busher is a songwriter, composer performer and musician from Ireland. Regarded as one of the finest upright bass players in the music business Kelvin is noted for his energy as a performer coupled with his ability as a musician. This has acquired him a lot of praise and attention both at home and abroad.
He has shared stages with both national and international act such as Kenny Rogers, Shane MacGowan, Jerry Fish, Imelda May and has done session work for Sharon Shannon, Jack L, The Niall Toner Band and Joe Fury and the Hayride to name but a few.
One of his greatest passions is songwriting. His debut album Vintage is a fine example of his abilities as a songwriter. Vintage was recorded in Galway and Dublin and was mastered in Florida by mastering legend Bob Katz.

Vintage is an album of depth and it's full of charm. It fits into the contemporary rock genre perfectly and would suit fans of bands like Counting Crows, Grant Lee Buffalo and The Boss! The vocals and lyrics are deep and personal. I love the lyrics of 'Caught Between', the chilled out vide of 'Find it in Your Heart' and brass section of 'Everybody Feels Alone'. Other tracks struggle to hit the heights of these three tracks but on the other hand there isn't a bad track on the album.
