Biography

This album is dedicated to my beloved parents, Lemius and Eunice Sonnier. It is from them that my Cajun blood flows.
This project has given me more joy and pride because I had complete control to record songs of my choice which I wanted to share with the rest of the world. These songs come directly from my heart and my soul and I give them to you, my friends and fans. So kick back, relax and listen as I take you back to where I come from, my only real home, Louisiana.
Above all of this I want to thank the most important part of this project and of my life, my God. Through the years I have learned that through Him all things are possible and without Him we are truly lost souls. Please remember, when He’s all you’ve got, He’s all you need. May God bless and keep you safe.

This album is in memory of my heroes in Cajun music, Iry Lejune, Lawrence Walker, Aldus Roger, Dewey Balfa, Shirley Bergeron, Sidney Brown, Voris LeBlanc, Mr. Bodeaux, Nathan Abshire, Austin Pete, Lionel Lu-Lu, Amedee Ardion, Joe Falcon, LeRoy Broussard, Maedee Breaux and all the others who I grew up listening and learning from. These guys were my true inspiration and the reason I am what I am.
