Biography

Jim Hurst has had a storied career touring and recording with some of the biggest names in Country and Bluegrass music. He decided to embark on his own in 2010 as a solo artist, which hasn’t disappointed. In total, he’s released seven projects. Each displays his diverse and deft guitar work and soothing vocals.

On his new album, the 2-time IBMA “Guitar Player of the Year” takes his craft to new heights, either writing or co-writing several of the tunes. On the project’s current single, Hurst teams with husband/wife duo Darin & Brooke Aldridge on the must-hear “Weary Old Highway,” written by Keith Little. Performing on the record is also an all-star lineup including the likes of Michael Cleveland, Missy Raines, Dale Ann Bradley, Jason Carter, Nate Lee, Scott Vestal, Erik Alvar, Steve Wilson, Shawn Lane, Don Rigsby, Danny Roberts and many more!
