Biography
Nashville native, Jaelee Roberts has music in her blood. Daughter of Grascals mandolinist, Danny Roberts, and notable booking agent, Andrea Roberts, it was only a matter of time before Jaelee pursued a musical career of her own. She is a powerful vocalist with a deep respect for the traditions of both Country and Bluegrass music. Jaelee’s admiration for these classic styles shines through in her songwriting and vocal delivery. Her many influences culminate in a sound that is a potent mixture of timeless and contemporary. Jaelee’s music is fresh, yet familiar.

“I am so excited for my second single to be a song that I wrote and it's an amazing feeling to hear it come to life!

The story behind "One’s Real Life” and what inspired me to write it is actually from a dream that I had. I dreamed that I was writing with one of my all-time favorite songwriters, Harley Allen and when I woke up, I could remember a few bits and pieces of words from that song. However, there was a line that I recalled vividly and that was "one's real life". I also dreamed the melody of the song! I took that line and the melody and thought about how there are so many relationships that are so much better in photos than in real life. That led me to writing about someone remembering how amazing their relationship was in the photos but then realizing how, in all reality, that person and time is long gone.
