Biography
Eric Byak’s story begins at four years old with the purchase of his first toy Guitar. Within just a couple of years, it became clear the kid was a child prodigy and his parents entered him in the Verdugo Hills "Search for Talent" competition. Discovered by honorary judge, Debbie Reynolds, she invited him to perform by her side at the Burbank Starlight Bowl and quickly landed him on local TV shows: The Steve Allen Show, Rosie Grier, and Good Day LA.
After high school, he received a scholarship into the USC School of Music, Studio Guitar Department. It was there he met legendary studio guitarist Lee Ritenour, who was recording
with everyone from Streisand to Pink Floyd. In his master class, Lee introduced a new technology of “Guitar Synthesis.” The ability to play any keyboard sound or or digital sample of acoustic instruments, simply triggered by the guitar strings.
This technology opened the door to a plethora of TV/ movie trailers and underscores for Eric, from Disney to American Express.

Additionally to his smooth jazz career, Eric has been a session guitarist and sideman for many other artists and Praise and Worship teams for the last 25 years from the Hiding place to Bethany church and Saint Simon and Jude in Huntington Beach, Ca.

"Radio Creds" are votes awarded to artists by radio programmers who have downloaded their music and have been impressed with the artist's professionalism and the audience's response to the new music. Creds help artists advance through the AirPlay Direct community.

Only radio accounts may add a Radio Cred. One week after the track has been downloaded the radio account member will receive an email requesting a Cred for each artist they've downloaded.
