Biography

Singer, guitarist, songwriter, producer & Rock Mom from Rochester, New York, USA. A former student of the late jazz guitar great Richard ” Dick” Longale. Her release ”Alternate Realities” is an all original 12 song “Rock & Kick Your **** Blues” CD getting rave reviews. Mastered by Roger Lian at Masterdisk,NYC and recorded at GFI Ontario,NY, it can be heard on live radio and on the web, (for a complete list see www.deborahmagone.com, CDBaby, Amazon.com, iTunes etc. Deborah is currently touring regionally in U.S. & Canada.

Deborah & her Band are headed for Hollywood, CA. this November 2012 for the LA MUSIC Awards where she will be awarded Producers Choice Award for “Best Female Rock Musician 2012″. She has also received 2 nominations, for ”Best Rock CD” (Alternate Realities) and “Best Rock Video” (It’$ All About Money). Stevie Wonder will also be in attendance to receive a lifetime achievement award.

Between New York & California Deborah has opened for Peter Frampton , Talas, Dakota, Shooting Star, JJ Bad Boy Jones, The Campbell Brothers and had the pleasure of playing with; Tammy Diddley , Grammy winner Janice Marie Johnson(A Taste of Honey), Chris Beard , Joe Beard , Campbell Bros., Mitch Mitchell and Tim Bogert among others. Former member of Wired & Another Taste Of Honey (Janice Marie Johnson), Deborah is a voting member of The Recording Academy, New York Chapter and union member of American Federation of Musicians Local 66 in Rochester, NY, BMI member and owner JoMama Music Publishing. Deborah performs solo /duo acoustically in addition to her blues rock group The Deborah Magone band, with Pete Nowak (drums), Jimmy Whitaker (guitar), James Wright (bass).

Alongside her lifelong love of Music, Deborah homeschooled 2 kids for 12yrs, loves Gardening, Martial Arts, Metaphysics, Politics, & Art.
